We are all children of God and we are all created in His Image

‘’If you do not stand for something, you will fall for everything.’’ Alexander Hamilton

It’s another day on Museveni’s land and another story to tackle.  I decided not to let this story get to me and  i am not here to judge nor hate. I have some concerns though. I have questions that require answers. I am overwhelmed by some of this information. Even when some of my friends in this ‘’situation’’ are explaining this I still look on in amusement. I usually refer it to shock.

I for one have always known that we are all children of God, we were created in his own image, we should love each other, we should pray for each other and we should hold on to each other. I know that we are all blessed beyond measure. And I know that He (the father most high) speaks to all of us, I guess at times we are scared to recognize that it is Him or at this rate say we feel some people are more blessed and hence we should follow or celebrate  them because they claim they have been anointed. I say claim because we have no facts or resources to support this claim. They just tell us.

So we can all understand the shock and disbelief when I heard a certain self-proclaimed prophet say that he had an open door policy with Jesus. As if that was not enough he had a dinner supposedly organised by his church members/followers or whatever they call themselves in honor of him. Yes you read right, in his honor.  I remember seeing the poster and the domination were crazy, 350k, 750K,1M and they were encouraged to give more so as to show the level of their faith. Quick question to we honor our religious leaders or the God we all serve? Anyway they did pull through with the function and the pictures were pretty shocking, he sat in a white comfortable chair as they all sat and celebrated him.

These people have come up with terms like prophet, apostle, bishop as if pastor was not enough. Wait for it, one of the latest discoveries is that they are ‘’men of God’’ Who is a man of God and what does that make us? The Bible does state that we are all made in God’s image. (Genesis 1:27)

I believe I understand why these prophets and so forth have been accredited with such power and respect. They teach a message of Hope. We are suffering, losing loved ones, lacking jobs, things simply not going as planned, financial difficulties, lacking marriage partners and more so looking for miracles. But they mostly focus on the hopeful message. Do they tell people to give to others that seem less fortunate or rather invest in their offerings and donations to the church to receive a higher blessing?

These men of God are adorning the best tailored suits in the finest materials, (we do not mean that they should look deprived but…they drive the latest cars, Range Rovers 2016 models in Uganda’s economy, they own mansions, they are surrounded by bodyguards left, east and right, having television shows, owning television networks and radio stations. They even burn bibles. ‘’They sell holy rice too’’ I see my dear friends using their images shouting praises at them and their works. Dare mention any of these to them and hell will break loose, you will be threatened and attacked for lacking faith and not believing in the man of God, they will literally curve you.

I will not dedicate how one should live their lives but something’s are wrong. Just because you are desperate does not mean you honour another human being, anointed or not.

Acts 10:25-26, ‘’And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet and worshipped Him, But Peter took him up saying stand up I myself I am a man’’  READ YOUR BIBLES,READ YOUR BIBLES all you need is there, all the comfort. God is calling on us all, ‘’Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest( Mathew 11:28.30) And always remember there is a time for everything, crying, laughing, mourning and rejoicing take it all time after time. Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

The universe too is circle do good and good shall definitely come to you. Galatians 6:9 and let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
